Each package includes:

  • 16 8oz servings of Alder Smoked Salmon Chowder
  • 24 8oz servings of Ivar’s Puget Sound Style Clam Chowder concentrate

Use And Care

Keep soups and chowders frozen until you are ready to consume them. Once you have removed them from the freezer, they should be cooked within 24 hours.

Clam Chowder Concentrate: Mix one pouch of thawed concentrate with one quart (32 oz.) of water (or milk) and stir to blend. Bring the chowder to a slow boil, stirring often to prevent scorching. Slow boil the chowder for 15 minutes. Hold and serve at 165 degrees F. Adding water is the recommended recipe. If you choose to add milk, the end result is a more rich flavor.

Alder Smoked Salmon Chowder RTU: Do Not Add Water, Simply heat the thawed pouch in boiling water to reach a minimum temp of 185 Degrees F. approximately 15 – 20 minutes.
